He taught her to pick only the fullest pods—the ones that carried the sun’s warmth and the soil’s quiet strength. “Food should never lie to you,” he would say, his hands calloused but gentle as he sorted the harvest.

Years later, Bhanu found herself in the vibrant markets of Dubai, watching busy families fill their carts with packets that sparkled with bright labels but delivered little truth. She remembered her grandfather’s words and felt a deep ache for something better.
That ache became Puresto Foods.

Determined to close the distance between honest farms and modern kitchens, Bhanu partnered with families in India who still farmed the way her grandfather did—slowly, carefully, and with respect for the land. She formed a company Girija Earth Essentials and sought out growers and suppliers who handpicked every grain of basmati so it arrived fragrant and long-grained. Suppliers who selected toor dal and black chickpeas for their natural protein and hearty texture, never rushing the drying or cleaning process.

For the Honesto range of cold-pressed oils, she found the traditional presses where groundnuts, coconuts, and seeds were crushed gently at low temperatures, locking in the rich antioxidants, nutty aromas, and pure goodness that refining steals away. Whole spices came straight from trusted fields, left unground so families in the UAE could release their full flavor and purity at home.
